Nepal: Ascent to Ama Dablam 6812m

Event details Difficulty Event type Date Previous Next Event description Ama Dablam is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Mount Everest area. It is located in northeastern Nepal and its main peak measures 6812 m, the secondary western peak is 5563 m. The name of the mountain can be translated as "Mother with a pearl necklace". We start our expedition in Lukla (2840m) on the legendary route through the Khumbu Valley. The ascent to this impressive and majestic peak will be led via the southwest ridge. Despite the fact that this is a traditional ascent route, this route is one of the technically difficult Himalayan ascents due to the overall exposure of the peak. This is not a trek, but a demanding mountaineering ascent that requires experience with ice climbing and mixed terrain. The expedition will be led by Josef Šimůnek, a UIAGM mountain guide who has long-term experience in leading Himalayan expeditions and successful ascents of Himalayan peaks, including eight-thousanders. Professional event security includes rescue services in case of a problem in the Himalayan mountains. Go on an expedition with us. Bhutan: Jomolhari Trek

Event details Difficulty Event type Date Previous Next Event description Join us on a beautiful Jomolhari Bhutanese trek at the foot of the sacred seven-thousander Jomolhari 7314m. And discover the mysterious beauties of the "land of infinite happiness". Bhutan is shrouded in a veil of an as yet undiscovered secret. Only a few tens of thousands of tourists visit it annually. During our discovery, we will be enchanted not only by high mountains with a height of over 7000 m on the border with Tibet, but also by beautiful deep-cut valleys with mountain streams and lowlands with impenetrable forests on the border with India. A unique culture and tradition little affected by mass tourism - that is Bhutan. The Jomalhari trek route copies the beginning of the no less famous 30-day Snowman trek, which we can also organize for you on request. We will also go to the amazing Tiger's Nest temple. Jumalhari trek offers a taste of the diversity of Bhutanese landscape and culture. At the end of the Jomolhari trek, we will visit the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu.
